Its own statute is approved separately and was not served by the register to this pass.

- The ministry’s work regulations of 2010 describe a Chief of the Defence Staff directly subordinate to the Commander of the Armed Forces and accountable to the Minister; the military service statute assigns him operational command of soldiers on international operations from departure to return. The Land Force statute of 1 September 2026 shows the same mechanism in current form: the service assigns capabilities to the Chief of the Defence Staff for operational direction and feeds his intelligence collection plan. That is the staff a national division and an allied brigade both have to talk to.
