- المنطقة العامة للنشاط
- Dispersed fighter operations from airfields across unoccupied Ukraine; its published home base is Myrhorod. No current basing is authored.
- تاريخ بارز
- The brigade that inherited the Soviet Su-27 regiment at Myrhorod and kept Ukraine's heaviest fighters flying through two decades of underfunding, the 2014 loss of a Crimean base and the full-scale war. Its aircraft were dispersed within hours of the February 2022 strikes and have flown air policing, interception of cruise missiles and, adapted for Western weapons, strike escort ever since — one of its commanders was among the war's first publicly named fighter casualties. Myrhorod has been struck repeatedly, which is the cost of a base whose name has been public for thirty years.
- نقاط القوة
- The longest-ranged and best-armed airframes in the Soviet-era fleet, a dispersal discipline proven in 2022, and pilots with more combat hours against cruise missiles than any Western fighter force.
- مواطن القصور
- Airframes at the end of their lives with no spares production, a base under persistent strike, and a pilot pipeline that limits sortie rates more than aircraft numbers do.
